Iceland: Day 6

March 31st, our last day in Iceland. We said goodbye to our hotel, Fosshotel Lind.

Then drove to out of Reyjkavik...

Drove to the Bridge Between Two Continents:

Drove to the airport and BYE to Iceland!!

Iceland: Day 5

On March 30 we went horseback riding at Ishestar. The only horse in Iceland is the Icelandic horse which has a 5th gait.

Iceland: Day 4

March 29, we spent the day wandering around the capital. First to a Catholic church, Landakotskirkja:

Then to Perlan, a restaurant with observation deck. They use geothermal water to heat their building and grow their vegetables.

Then to the Presbyterian church, Hallgrimskirikja, for Palm Sunday service

We had read about a mystical place, Elf Garden:

Hit the beach near Videy. The sand in Iceland is like cookie crumbles from the volcanic rock that makes up the island. We also played in the snow and slid down a hill
