Valentine's Day

Nicolae had a last-minute Valentine party at his school. The boys got to see Junior before heading to bible study in the evening

Trip to West Palm

We went to West Palm the first weekend in February to celebrate birthdays (mine, mom's, grandma's and Oli's) and for a going away party for Robert who is now in Air Force boot camp.

Birthday Weekend

My mom and my birthdays were the last weekend in January. I've been taking the boys out biking so we all went out for a ride and then went out with a bunch of my friends for dinner. This weekend, we were hit with more news that another of my mom's brothers died on Sunday and my cousin, Nikki's husband, died unexpectedly on Saturday leaving behind two girls Nicolae and Gabriel's age and two teen step children. Just another reminder, although it seems my mom's famiy has had a bit too many reminders this past year, that life is short and it's so important to remember to keep the things of eternal value in mind rather than those that pass away so quickly

11 Months!

Oliver is almost a year old! He is definitely the baby-very dramatic boy. He is into everything. I usually find him stuck between the wall and the couch, the wall and the tv unit, or under a chair. It sounds odd, but he likes to look under things. He'll lay on the floor and look under couches, tables, chairs, entertainment center, etc. He loves balls and usually crawls around with one in each hand. He cruises around on the couch and uses his push toy to walk around. I've caught him standing up unassisted but not for long.
